"I Choose Joy" was written during our 2019 Arts Alive Drama Camp as the closer of the musical we wrote for the week. It was a very profound song in the show talking about the struggles that we go through and how choosing joy can help us day by day.

 

As we are all living through the COVID-19 global pandemic, we felt the words of this song were especially poignant for a time such as this. 

 

Sally Hollenbach, The Ohio Theatre Director, has recorded the song as a way to encourage everyone during this difficult time. She also created the Lyric Video shown above for YouTube and on our Facebook Page. 

 

We don't want cost to be a hinderance to anyone, so we are making the download of this song available to anyone who wants it for free! 

 

At the same time, we are also hoping that it can be a blessing to The Ohio Theatre as well. Like so many businesses, we have had to shut our doors during this time. We have had so MANY movies and special events that we have had to cancel or postpone which has created a very unique and financially challenging circumstance for the Theatre.

 

If you are able to donate something, we would greatly appreciate it! Any donation would be a big help and will go directly to help The Ohio Theatre make it through this difficult time! 

 

We are teaming up with the Loudonville Theatre & Arts Committee to help make this possible.
